Bamboo charcoal project / 2014

Bamboo charcoal neutralizes odors.
To show its function of deodorization I started exploring the material in an experimental way. I focused on three directions (natural form, bamboo charcoal plate and charcoal powder). Based on the results of my experimental studies I created new product ideas.

KAGUA a one piece bamboo lamp / 2011

The pendant lighting "KAGUA" is crafted in traditional japanese handwork out of one piece of bamboo.
This guarantees an environment friendly production without waste.
The combination of natural and modern long-lasting materials and techniques, creates a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
